AWARDS AND PRIZES
According to the average of the total scores given by each jury member, choirs will be given the following diplomas:
To qualify for these prizes a choir must score 85% or higher (GOLD B)
Certificates to ALL participating Choirs
|GOLD||CUM LAUDE||95 points and above|
|A Grade||90 points to 94.99|
|B Grade||85 points to 89.99|
|C Grade||80 points to 84.99|
|SILVER||A Grade||75 points to 79.99|
|B Grade||70 points to 74.99|
|C Grade||65 points to 69.99|
|BRONZE||A Grade||60 points to 64.99|
|B Grade||55 points to 59.99|
|C Grade||50 points to 54.99|
Choirs with the highest score in each category will be the category winner.
The category winners will compete in a gala concert for the Grand Prize.
The jury may decide to award outstanding work and award a prize for best conductor.
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION
Musicality (interpretation, expression, style)
Technical competency (intonation, rhythm, diction etc.)
Overall artistic impression
A jury of internationally renowned adjudicators of various nationalities will evaluate the competing choirs. All decisions of the jury are final and cannot be contested.
